When an unusual Christmas card appears, Kacie tries to discover its origins by searching through cards from her past. The images inspire her to sing such numbers as “Winter Wonderland,” “Silver Bells” “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer,” and other holiday favorites. As she performs onstage, the movie features the artwork of Norman Rockwell, Currier & Ives, and Christmas cards from the first 1843 card to the present.
At the end of the show, she finally discovers the dramatic story behind the mystery card. It is over a hundred years old and comes directly from the time and place of a real life Christmas miracle.
Kacie Bowers, who headlines the show is well known to local audiences as the lead singer with Band du Pays. She also performs with a local trio: Kacie & the "C" Notes.
“With Every Christmas Card I Write” is from the same creative team —Lauren James and Ed Miller —that brought you “The Greatest Generation—A Musical Tribute” and “In the Days of Teddy Roosevelt”.
